svcd problem crashing with SP3

hi i have had svcd for a couple of years and love the program however since i (stupidly) installed sp3 from M/S svcd 12/07 release has started having problems and crashing. has anyone else had any problems and if so any fixes to help? thanks in advance :)

I heard SP3 was causing problems depending on some hardware - sucks that it hit you. When in the process do you get the crash? What exactly happens? Any error messages? Can you post a log file from a crashed run?
