Supports .srt subs? Or not?
Tabula Rasa posted 2006 May 16 10:27
I might have missed something here (which is common) but i cant find anything about the program supporting .srt (text) subtitles? I´ve seen postings about the procedure to convert different sub formats to .sup though. Is there such support? If not, will it ever be implemented? The reason for asking is purely selfish (or not:D) but i am having a hard time finding .sup subtitles that i need, but very easy to find the .srt ones.....

SVCD2DVD supports .sup for subtitles.

What the heck is the screenshot? Is that part of svcd2dvd? I expected more help from the forum. I did a search on this forum and this seems to be the common answer - show this same screenshot with no other info. Anyone else have any answers that can actually help a beginner?

Sure, there are three guides for the program here: http://www.videohelp.com/guides?tools=245&&archive=%25
And we have a forum for subtitle questions here: http://forum.videohelp.com/subtitle-f44.html
And some guides for Subtitle Creator: http://www.videohelp.com/guides?tools=652&&archive=%25
And some other subtitle tools and associated guides: http://www.videohelp.com/tools/sections/subtitle
And more help and info on SVCD2DVD's website: http://www.svcd2dvd.com/Software/svcd2dvd2.aspx

every time i've tried this it doesn't work. if the subtitles are only for a couple scenes in the movie then it's a very small srt file and it results in an error in that program. why can't you just get .srt files to work with it?
