| DVD players that can play DivX and Xvid generally only play videos in AVI or .divx form, and possibly MPEG-1 and MPEG-2. You'll most likely have to re-encode your video into an AVI with a DivX or Xvid video stream, and MP3 audio stream.
Also, it might be a good idea to make sure the .avi/.divx video(s) don't exceed any of the points in this post: http://forum.videohelp.com/topic357003.html | ||||

| And convert your mp4 to avi using for example winff, super, xvid4psp, avidemux. | ||||

| forare - I'd have to see the exact claim that Sony makes to know for sure, but I'm guessing that they are claiming to be able to play MPEG-4 video (ie. Divx/Xvid) and NOT that they are claiming to be able to play video in MP4 containers. | ||||

YES!!! There's no way this is going to play. It uses VC-1 for video. Your player probably doesn't support AAC audio either (few DVD players do). I stand by my original statement in my previous post. You would do well to pay attention to that. |
