| Hi. I have a Sony DR710UL, external dvd writer. I noticed that all of the last 8 dvd discs burnt has uneven burning, even in safe mode, or slowest burn speed. I had already updated the firmware but still the same problem.
Is my DR710UL kapootssss !!!! Thanks. |

| Your external Sony DR710UL is a rebadged LITEON drive. What brand of dvd media are you using? MEMOREX & TDK ? Those 2 brands are low grade crappy dvd media. Try using VERBATIM dvd media and burn with IMGBURN. If you're using VERBATIM and IMGBURN then try using another USB cable. |
