| I hope someone here can help me with my problem:
I want to upgrade the quality on the tv-screens in my local footballstadium. There is an old, but descent coaxnetwork. They have installed new LCD-televisions (HD-Ready, most of them got build in dvb-t tuners). These television get an analog signal with advertising and newsmessages. During the game there is live footage and the sound of a commentator. It all works fine but the imagequality is lousy. Now I've been thinking (and it still hurts a lot...) ... is it possible to hook the HDMI-output of a laptop into a DVB-t modulator and send this signal over the coax-cable to feed the televisions that have DVB-t tuners. You guys are the experts (I hope) so please... get me out of my misery! | ||

| Not seen a modulator that can handle an HDMI input, they all want raw mpeg-2. Rather than using a laptop, you could use a desktop and fit one of these http://www.dektec.com/Products/DTA-110T/index.asp | ||
