| does anyone know about setting Sony DVP-NS78HS DVD Player to region-free?
This model available in store only Region-II vers. Salesman say it can made it for me multi-region simply by applying appropriate service code via special Sony infrared remote control, without upgrading software. Is this possible for this model? |

| If the salesman told you it could, then it possibly can be. But you need the service remote, not the remote that came with the player. |
