Scan Audio file for Errors

MegaTonTerror posted 2009 Oct 01 10:06
I have an audio file I made and it has a 4 second part around the 7:50 to 7:55 mark where it sounds all digitally. I have also created 20 more of these (different tracks and they came from a DVD). I was wondering if there is a tool that will do a scan and detect these sort of things. The audio I am creating is 20+ minutes long and will take forever to QC check each one. Thanks for the help. -MTT

What do you mean by
"it sounds all digitally"
and
"will take forever to QC check each one"
:?:

In theory you can open audio file in a SoundForge, Audacity, or even Nero's own Wave Editor and use some of their filters to remove any unwanted parts of the sound (i.e. noise, clicks, hum etc). But there is no way of "automating" any removal of unwanted parts, because don't forget that even a noise may be actually part of a sound (i.e. live recordings), so... each audio needs different approach.
