| i have converted the RMVB file to vob using convertxto dvd. the product does n ot synchronize. the audio is played after the visuals disapper. it is delayed. i could not check the rmvb file because it does not play with jetaudio. i demultiplexed. the video length is 01-04-01 whereas the audio is 01-04-05(h-m-s).any help to make the vob synchronized? thanks |

| you'll want to install realplayer,
or realalternative, then avisynth. and try frameserving with directshowsource() will probably work. if you're up to trying. i'll type more |

| Do the following
1. get real producer basic (free) from real and install. 2. in rpb-file-edit real media file-new window opens 3. Load your rmvb in the editing window. 4. There are two buttons with double arrows-one for forward, other for backward 5. first click the forward button once and then the backward button. Set that as start point 6. go to end of video. click backward button once and then the forward button once. Set that end point. 7. Your selection starts and ends with I frames. 8. Save it as a new rmvb file. Try loading the new rmvb file in convetrtxtodvd and see what happens. if you still have problems, you will need to use avisynth. |

| I have also used ConvertXtodvd before, some files do suffer out of sync audio. I have also used avisynth, also with mixed success, sometimes avisynth won't load the movie at all (but that movie works in Convertx)
I had to use a mixture of convertx and avisynth to successfully convert about 5 rmvb files to mpeg2. Good luck. |
