I cannot speak to the features/quality of the RjTECH RJ-800DVX but I can tell you that the 642 does a very adequate job of handling correctly encoded divx, xvid, svcd, and vcd selections. The only items it has choked on in my experience are a few xvids that were encoded with vbr audio. An annoying audio synch issue is apparent on those. The 642 is not exactly a high end machine, but the novelty of dropping a single CD divx movie into it and having it play perfectly was enough to motivate me to go out and grab a second one for the family room.

Regards,

Ender
