Replacement for DVDit Pro HD 6.3 Final |

| Hello All,
So far, the only *intermediate* DVD authoring app I've found that is truly for intermediates is Roxio DVDit Pro HD 6.3. Virtually all the others I've found are eeeeeeeaaassssy, which means they can't do anything remotely complex, or - Scenarist and DVD-Lab, which both require a degree in video engineering to figure out. Forget apps like PowerProducer, DVDstyler, AVS, and all those others - their DVD authoring functions are only the most basic, like 1-click, for the brain dead, or the extremely new, or the impatient. What I'm looking for is an *intermediate* replacement for Roxio DVDit Pro HD - this app isn't updated anymore, and so with Windows Server 7 I'm afraid it won't even install anymore. Any recommendations are welcome - except "get (1-click easy app name here) - it's great", or "get Scenarist or DVDlab - they will do anything" ... Thanx in advance for any replies. :) Grampa |

| Have you tried DVD Architect? |

| Yes, I've installed it and played around with it for a few minutes - it appears that DVDlab does *more* for the user up front than DVD Architect does! :)
But that's OK; I have figured out the basics for DVDLab - Getting a project built based on a downloaded AVI - and have compiled a FAQ for all intermediates (and smart newbies) who want to graduate from a one-click or DVDit to DVDlab. :) You can find that FAQ Here.[/url] |
