| Hi! I have Panasonic - S1 and Samsung - P246K DVD players. I would like to change them to region free. Please, anyone who knows the codes may help.

| There is no harm in asking, but please note that there may not be any codes for these players. The only Samsung models I have seen any codes for recently are 2 models in the 300 (I think) series. Almost all Samsung DVD players are locked and the region coding cannot be changed. Some players can never be made region free.
Hollywood has convinced almost all of the major manufacturers to stop making DVD players that can be made region free by consumers. The situation is likely to get worse with time. |

| Sony DVD players are almost impossible to unlock. BluRay players are also almost impossible to unlock. I've never heard of any Sony BluRay player that could be unlocked. |
