    Hello !

    I own a HDD/DVD recorder Philips 3330H.
I can record well onto the hard drive, and then put everything to DVD+R. But the trick is that this DVD+R media can only be read in my Philips DVD player. I have tried to read it on another DVD player and on my computer, however the DVD is not readable ? So please suggest me, where I could change the codec or how could I upgrade to a new firmware which would support ISO9660 formats ? Also if anyone has an idea where to check which firmware I run on the player, please let me know.

    Kind regards,
    Jan Prunk

Have you closed / finalized the disc on your dvd recorder?
I guess you don't see any files on the dvd using windows explorer?

This is NOT a codec problem. You probably aren't finalizing the discs. I have heard of DVD+R discs made with DVD recorders that don't play in DVD players that aren't recorders, but PCs can play these discs if they are finalized. Because your PC can't read the discs, I'm sure they are not finalized.

Everything supports ISO9660 - this is not your problem.
