| :( My panasonic DVD player model LV55 (compact one) plays VCDs and music CDs but not DVD.
It shows up a blue screen and DVD spins for a while and then I hear repeat sounds as if it iis scanning the DVD..then the DVD stops spinning. first, has anyone experienced this kind of problem? second, could this be a software problem ? any suggestion on fixing this problem would be greatly appreciated. - Soundar |

| Retail DVD's or DVDR's? Looks like this player only supports -R's and it is picky with the brand. |

it used to play retail DVDs ..but those same DVD are now giving problems.. I have only played retail DVDs on this player so far.. is there some way or resetting the player... - SK |
