| Hi,
newbie to all this.. I just brought myself a HG10, rather happy with it, but it records in MTS. After upgrading my PC, now I can finally do something with these files, at this stage just burning onto a DVD. Anyway, I've just reinstall Real Alternative 1.84 & ffdshow_beta5_rev2033_20080705_clsid but when I play the MTS files, I get a screen within a screen, its just like a zoom. See this image -> sea-breeze.jpg This box stays there permanently and its rather annoying... this only appears when I play mts files and if I use the same player for other type files, everything is normal. ie. this zoom box is gone. Any idea on whats wrong and how do i get ride of it? Can anyone tell me what other s/w i should install for working with MTS files? like codecs, tools, etc.. Thanks in advance, Jason. |

| Not sure about your 'screen within a screen' problem, but you can do a all forum search for ' MTS ' and ' AVCHD ' and find out quite a bit about your format and how to work with it. This one from Soopafresh is fairly recent: http://forum.videohelp.com/topic346331.html?highlight=mts
And welcome to our forums. :) |

| Hi redwudz,
thanks for the thread.. will have a read. btw.. my screen within a screen is now fixed... I uninstalled all the codec, etc.. so now only using haali, ffdshow & RealALT 1.84. The only prob now seems to be some buffering type issue, where playing the VDO, the video starts to stuttler, freeze, etc.. any suggestions? I've already set ffdshow to deinterlacing. thx. |
