| Hi,
I want to buy a dvd recorder with Hard Drive. I didn't wanted to spend more than 200/250€. Can anyone sugest me a decent one? It's to convert all my vhs to dvd. None of this vhs are comercial but must of them has high generation copys. So has to be a dvd recorder that wont give me sync problems between audio and video. Any sugestion? By the way... i never user any dvd recorder, it's possible to recorder like 180minutes and edit it to burn only what i want? Thanks for your time |

| I can highly recommend the Philips DVDR3575H/37 if you're in North America.

| Toshiba, if you can still buy them wherever you are. There are more options for customizing than you'll ever need and PQ is the best there is. Noise reduction on the input and output side both, black level adjustments for input and output both, those may come in handy for VHS. |

| Your price is a little Low I would advise spending £200 or 300Euros and getting a nice sony or phillips or Panasonic. Most of the other lesser brands tend to be a bit .. well.. "wonky".. possibly will work, not as reliable, not as user friendly, not as well made, not as well supported.. or you may pick up a gem, as they have to prove themselves |

| Check the Panasonics, the UK ones can be switched between pal and ntsc in the menu. |
