MKV to AVCHD - problem with MP3 audio track? |

| Hi there
I have some MKV files that were created by someone which contain two commentary tracks, one of which is in MP3 format. I tried converting them to AVCHD, using MultiAVCHD, which does a great job, but doesn't seem to convert the MP3 file? I've tried playing the AVCHD back on my computers, as well as a PS3, yet there's no MP3 commentary. How can I fix this? is there any other software that will do what I want? William |

| MKVExtractGUI to get the mp3 file out on it's own. Convert to AC3 2 channel 256 kbps. MKVMerge to put it back into the original MKV file in place of the MP3. Then try playing it back. |

| Are you sure it is MP3? Because multiAVCHD should reencode it to AC3. I tested a lot of files with MPEG1-L2 (mpa) and MPEG1-L3 (mp3) and it always worked. |

| The person who created the original file says it's in MP3 |

| mediainfo the file and find out what is in it |

| You can also post the log from multiAVCHD - it will be much easier. |
