Oh no, no answer, please help me...

poisondeathray posted 2009 Nov 03 14:53
post your avs script

can you preview your avs script in vdub, or avsp?

DruidCtba posted 2009 Nov 03 14:55
My AVS script

DirectShowSource("My.File.mp4", fps=23.976)

poisondeathray posted 2009 Nov 03 14:56
Answer the 2nd question please, and report any error messages

I think your installed .net version is old too

DruidCtba posted 2009 Nov 03 15:04
Yes "No Errors" open with VirtualDUBMOD 1.5.10.2 & VirtualDub 1.8.6.

DruidCtba posted 2009 Nov 03 15:05
How to get it .NET and what Version to do Install?

poisondeathray posted 2009 Nov 03 15:07
If it previews fine, it's likely not an avisynth issue and I'm not sure then.

I think some of the xvid_encraw.exe versions had issues. You could use vdub to encode to xvid for now, or ask at doom9 forums where the developers could be found. You might try re-installing megui , or use a different xvid_encraw version. The latest version of .net framework is 3.5, and you can find it from microsoft, but I don't think that's your problem

Can you encode using x264 in megui? If you can successfully with the same script & setup, that suggests an issue with xvid_encraw

:

--[Error] An error occurred: xvid [error]: Bad Framerate 0.000000 (25/1)

DruidCtba posted 2009 Nov 03 15:10
I reinstall MEGUI twice and NOTHING, the same error...

Please, what .DOTNET to do install?

P.S This error occurs with .MKV files too... and I don't know used VBUD to do this work.

DruidCtba posted 2009 Nov 03 15:11
How to know my versin .DOTNET and what .DOTNET version MEGUI work?

DruidCtba posted 2009 Nov 03 15:12
I would like to do job with MEGUI, please help me...

poisondeathray posted 2009 Nov 03 15:15
Your log file reports it

:

--[NoImage] Latest .Net Framework installed : 2.0 (2.0.50727.0)

I have 3.5 installed, xvid_encraw 2009-06-05 1.3 VAQ, and it encoding with xvid works fine

If your error occurs with x264 and mkv too, then you have bigger problems

You could try xvid4psp to encode to xvid/avi, or use a guide for vdub on how to encode

DruidCtba posted 2009 Nov 03 15:19
I don't understood MICROSOFT DOT NET have versions 1.x, 2.x ans 3.x, but anything program work with 1.x and not 2.x or 3.x and so on, then why install MEGUI do not see ERROR for DONET?

DruidCtba posted 2009 Nov 03 15:20
Please ANYBODY help me to SOLUTION, please.

Ai Haibara posted 2009 Nov 03 15:46
First, make sure your .NET installations are completely up-to-date. Run Windows Update and install any updates/service packs for whatever .NET versions show up.

For the most part, the .NET frameworks are NOT backward-compatible or cross-compatible. If you have a program that wants .NET 1.x to run, it won't run with .NET 3.x - you'll need to install the version the program wants. To add even more problems, I've been hearing that .NET 4, which is in development, isn't compatible with some of the older .NET versions and will ask you to uninstall them.

From the MeGUI FAQ:
:
What version of the NET framework can I use?

Versions 2.0 and 3.0 should work.

But is this really a .NET issue?

DruidCtba posted 2009 Nov 03 15:48
I get it xvid_encraw.exe 2009-06-06 1.3 VAQ and replace in MEGUI install

Now ERROR:

Please people, I need one HELP.

Ethlred posted 2009 Nov 05 00:19
What is your source?

Things to try.

Install the latest .Net. Don't bother wasting anymore time till you install the latest version. Not the 4.0 beta. I think its 3.5. .Net has several versions and they mostly play nice with each other. Programs use the version they are supposed to, at least if that version is installed.

I just checked the Megui site and it says it uses .Net 2.0 but that page hasn't been updated in over a year.

I suspect that the 4.0 has compatibility issues only because its a beta, so leave it alone.

Once you have than try again.

It is possible that your source is the problem. Most encoders expect, I think its YUY2, which is what MOST DVDs have. But some do not have that and then you will may have to ad a color space conversion to the AVS script.

Try another source if this is the only thing you have tried with MeGui. If another source works then its likely that the source is the problem.

The catch here is that MeGui is having problems at the moment. A lot of changes recently in X264 and some of the people that work on MeGui have disappeared for a while. You are using the same version as I am and its working for me, but I am using X264 not Xvid. I checked and I think you have the same version of Xvid but I haven't tested whether it works properly as I stopped using Xvid some time ago.

There are some work arounds I have had to use with MeGui at present. I find that I have to shut down Megui to get any profile changes to stick. They aren't saved till exit for some reason. In X264 I also had to uncheck - Keep some B-Frames as reference. Never really liked that anyway. It messed up the older Nero Showtime I have. Apparently some hardware players don't like it either.

I checked the color space in a couple of DVDs by using Media Player Classic
- Right click while playing
- Filters
- Video Mixing Renderer
- Pin Info tab

If it doesn't say YUY2 then that is the most likely cause of the problem.

Ethelred

Thanks for help me.

In MEGUI is possible change downscale 1024x534 to 720x308 (2.35 aspect ratio)?

Hey what's happening:

MPC
- Connection media type:
Video: YV12 1024x304 (45:19) 23.98fps

Media Info
Width : 720 pixels
Height : 304 pixels

This is a problem with MEGUI or NOT, I don't understand....
