| Nope, only liteon drives and other drives which are built by liteon but rebadged by others. |

| You may be aware of this, but a alternative is Nero DiscSpeed. Maybe not in the league of KProbe, but usable. :) |

| so if i buy liteon bluray burner, it should be able to work with kprobe to check quality even of bluray discs? |

| Yes with kprobe 2.52 but doesn't work with the DH-4B1S or DH-4O1S |

| @deejay.2001 - A lot of people whose opinion I respect around here have pretty negative opinions about the whole process of doing quality scans. I'd like to politely suggest that maybe it's just really not all that important, but if you're already worried about using it with BluRay discs, I don't think you're willing to consider that viewpoint. |

| Kprobe is old school....as redwudz pointed out use CD/DVD speed which is now called OPTI DRIVE CONTROL.
http://www.cdspeed2000.com/ Samsung, Plextor and Benq drives are used for quality scans. Quality scans can be helpful when you run into a disc that can't playback correctly. Check out CDFreaks.com in the OPTICAL DRIVE FORUM such as LITEON, PLEXTOR, SAMSUNG, BENQ, PIONEER...etal. |

| Kprobe is a waste of time,i just use imgburn verify, with kprobe2 i found that discs with 200+pi would play better than discs with +10 pi and these where the same brand disc burned on the same burner at different speeds. |
