| I've attempted to install many times, downloading all of the binaries, and placing them on my desktop, but when I try to install I get an error stating:
##sh: -c: line 0: unexpected EOF while looking for matching `'' sh: -c: line 1: syntax error: unexpected end of file Do I need help or Possibly with the next release this will be fixed? =) Thanks! |

| Do you have a special character in your admin password? If so, change it (temporarily) to only alphanumeric symbols. |

| I too get ##/bin/sh: -c line 0: unexpected EOF while looking for matching `"
There is no special character in the administrators password. I have put the binaries on the desktop, in my Macintosh HD even tried renaming this to MacintoshHD renamed mpeg2enc.intel to mpeg2enc but no effect. :( Any other suggestions? |

| By "special character" I mean anything that is not A-Z, a-z, 0-9, - or _ .
The error message tells that it finds an apostrophe (or quote sign). It tries to interpret as-if part was enclosed in quotation marks. That fails because there is no second quotation mark, to mark the end. Somewhere you must have a single or double quote sign ( ' or " ) in a file, folder or volume name that the program tries to access, or in your password. |
