How to RIP Television DVDs?

thesensfan posted 2009 Oct 30 16:33
Ok I am at a lost...

I have been trying to get my TV DVD's ripped such that each of the episodes are one ISO file with no loss in quality. I do not care how big the file is.

I can not seem to get it right. Yhe episodes span more than one ts file.

ANY guidance is much appreciated!!!

Cheers!

I went the easy route and paid for CloneDVD Mobile from Slysoft. It examines the DVD and gives you the episodes. Just tick the ones you want and individual VOBs are created (not ISOs). If the DVDs are copy-protected then you could use Slysoft's AnyDVD or DVDFab Decrypter (which I've not used) to get rid of the copy-protection before the ripping starts.

You can also use DVDFabDecrypter to create ISO's if you install ImgBurn and select it in Settings->Write.

Thanks! Look like I got it working with DVDFab.

All you had to do was this: http://www.digitalfaq.com/guides/video/edit-dvd-recorder.htm

PGC.net is another good option.
