How to relocate Zip File (Buck?)
Tobias0815 posted 2008 Jun 28 21:03
When I downloaded ffmpegX, it made me download some Zip-file, which ended on my desctop.
I removed the file, but seemingly the program needs it.
Fine, so I moved it to a folder, the program complains and wants the new location, of course.
So, after pressing "install", the program seemingly runs fine.

But the next time it again asks for the location of the Zip-File.

Is this some kind of buck, or what am I doing wrong here?

http://www.ffmpegx.com/download.html
ffmpegX website :
The mplayer and mencoder binaries for ffmpegX are available here. Decompress the downloaded zip file by double-clicking the icon.

Now locate the files you've just downloaded in the ffmpegX installer window by clicking the three "Locate.." buttons and selecting the appropriate files.
That would be mpeg2enc (from mjpeg.sourceforge.net), mencoder (extracted from the zip) and mplayer (extracted from the zip).
