How to extract video MPEG-2 from DVD?
fvisagie posted 2008 Oct 06 02:21
Hello All,

I need to re-author a particular DVD but can't recreate its video encode.

What is the simplest way to extract to .mpg (not re-encode) the existing MPEG-2 from that DVD?

Thanks kindly,
Francois

VOB2MPG will extract the video as an mpg file without re-encoding. If the source is unprotected you can rip directly from the disc. If it is protected, rip it to your HDD first.

So you help me out again...

My DVD is now re-authored, and it's gorgeous!

This site, and its forums, and its users, and its tools are just fanTAStic :-).

Thanks and kind regards, guns1inger.
