| Hello All,
I need to re-author a particular DVD but can't recreate its video encode. What is the simplest way to extract to .mpg (not re-encode) the existing MPEG-2 from that DVD? Thanks kindly, Francois |

| VOB2MPG will extract the video as an mpg file without re-encoding. If the source is unprotected you can rip directly from the disc. If it is protected, rip it to your HDD first. |

| So you help me out again...
My DVD is now re-authored, and it's gorgeous! This site, and its forums, and its users, and its tools are just fanTAStic :-). Thanks and kind regards, guns1inger. |
