| Hello all, I'm new.
My problem is I can't extract a raw video from an AVI file. My AVI file has H.264 codec. I've already used MP4Box but it does not work for H.264 codec. Are there anyway else to extract the raw video from the AVI container? Sorry for my bad English :oops: . Plz correct it if u find a mistake. It will help me improve my English. Thank you very much |

Do the Avidemux has a command-line interface? I have to write a program that convert any video to H.264 (video) and AAC (audio) in a mp4 container. Now, I can convert video to H.264 but it's in the AVI container. So, I want to extract it to H.264 for muxing it with AAC sound after that. |

| mp4box works fine for extracting raw h264 streams from avi. There are several builds, some work better than others.
You can also "repackage" h264 in avi into .mp4 with mp4box, in 1 step It can also do AAC YAMB is the gui for it |

| If you are going to CONVERT any video then I would use ffmpeg. It can convert directly to MP4. |
