how can we know that a group of music files have cbr or vbr? |

| when we open a folder in mp3 tag we get the information bout the bitrate. but is there a source to know whether it is cbr or vbr? |

| MediaInfo can also tell you if an MP3 is encoded with VBR. However, VBR MP3s may also appear to some programs (not while playing) to have unusual bitrates, so if you see one with a 'nonstandard' bitrate, chances are it's probably VBR-encoded. |

| jet audio also shows the bitrate characteritcs while playing a file. i want to get this with a group of files at a time. |

| Copy the following text and save as a .txt file:
%FILE_NAME%\t %FILE_SIZE%\t %AUDIO_BITRATE%\t %AUDIO_SAMPLE_RATE%\t %AUDIO_BITRATE_TYPE%\t %AUDIO_CHANNEL_COUNT%\r\n Open G-spot, go to Options > Export, enable exporting, under "Format" select your text file. Under "Output fles" check "Always append to same file" Now drag all your MP3s into G-spot, let it process all of them. Now open your text file with MS Excel and you'll have all their characteristics in sortable columns, including bitrate type. |
