| hi this is my 1st post here and im slightly out of it because of the pain killers i took for a migraine so sorry if im not making much sence. im having a lot of problems using megui. the 1st is converting rmvb to mkv. it converts fine but the end result has sever sync issues between video and audio. the 2nd is converting dvd rips to mkv. im ripping the dvds with dvd decryter then using gordian knot convert the file to avi. that all go well but then when i try to convert it to mkv using megui i get an error message saying i need to install YU12 codec, there are some avi files ive download which work with megui but the ones i rip myself dont. i dont know whats wrong and am in way over my head. my ultimate goal is to be able to produce 300-400mb high quality dvd rips and 40-80mb anime episodes.
this is what happens when i convert rmvb to mkv

| 1) rmvb issue has been discussed many times before, do a quick [search.]
Hint: avisynth + real alternative installed DirectShowSource("PATH\FILE.rmvb",fps=25,convertfps=true,audio=true) (assuming it's a PAL source and 25 fps, use mediainfo if you are not sure) 2) Post your exact error message and error log from MeGUI |
