| I've got an Art Of Devil 3 DVD, but the subtitle is a mess. I want to add a new english subtitle to the DVD. How to do that, i know that some explanation have been posted before, but it seems like too expert explanation. I just want to watch it with the new subtitle but without converting/compressing the movie to HD. Is there any way to do that? |

| If you want to watch on your dvd player you must make a new DVD, see http://forum.videohelp.com/topic338721.html . It's not that complex.
Or if you just want to play it on your computer you can use Media PLayer Classic and open the DVD and load custom subtitle under file->load subtitle. But it's probably not that easy to sync the subs. |

| My suggestion:
Rip the DVD. Extract the subtitles with SubRip to SRT format. Edit the subtitles and make the changes you need. Make a new DVD with the new subs. Most programs won't accept SRT format subtitles though. There are various guides here on adding new subtitles (the process is basically the same if you want to simply replace a sub) and make a DVD exactly like the original (same menus, etc.) but with the new subtitle(s) in it. |
