This was the third of three shorts I had time to view tonight. This one was well good but not great. The camera footage and sound in the apartment was good. Great action too. The parking garage and transitions weren't on par with the rest of the film. You could barely hear what was being said nor could you see what was happening. Fortunately, there wasn't much action in that scene and the audio was too far away from the target.

A good film of which I'd like to see more of since it's supposed to be a short clip of a much larger project.

I pretty much agree with ROF on this one, and aside from a few things that could easily be cleaned up (technically), if I were a producer viewing this sample, I'd definitely be interested in seeing more. It's well directed, well paced, and I can easily see there's enough talent behind this to bode very well for expanding on this.

I would change a few things -- the sound in the parking garage is pretty muddled, but that'd be easy to clean up with a little post-production work. Also at the beginning, I'm unclear as to why Frankie would open the door for our "Mr. X" if he (Frankie) is so nervous about whatever's going on. Does he know "Mr. X" in some other context? If this scene occurs after we are already introduced to Mr. X and Frankie's relationship then that's cool, but in a short clip I would have a few more words between the two so we have a bit more understanding of what's going on.

But these are tweaks and again, the direction and camera work shows a lot of promise and I would definitely be interested in seeing more of this story! Good luck on your feature film! :)
