Encoding Mp3's for use in Flash player

JohnX posted 2009 Oct 26 06:05
Hi,
I'm a basic user and I've got ffmpegX in order to encode to flv's. Tried some .mov's and they;re fine. I also need to be able to play back some mp3's (my own work by the way!) in a flash player. ffmpeg says it can do this conversion but when I do it - it 'dings'! but the resultant file is zerokb and clearly won't play.
Any ideas what I'm not doing properly?

Thanks

John

Flash player already supports mp3 playback. No need to convert. Just fill in "filename.mp3" where the filename goes, instead of "filename.flv".
