| Hey I live out in the boonies 47°33'28.65"N, 47°33'28.65"N looking for a good deep fringe UHF antenna 95% of my channels are purple 2 edge and 40 miles from the stations in Seattle

You are in what is called a "hole" :( 2 Edge means two higher hills are between you and the TV towers. You have to live on the limited spill over from the top of the hill. VHF will bend more than UHF. You will probably get some reflections (multi-path) being that close but those signals will change with weather and even by time of day as things heat and cool. A pure play is to obtain a large directional UHF-VHF pointed in the direction of the towers and up at the top of the blocking hill. Then add tower mounted amplification as needed. Look at the larger of the Winegard 769 series for VHF/UHF. Among the best of the UHF only models is the Terrestrial Digital - XG91. It is 93 inches long. http://www.antonline.com/p_91XG-GP_423299.htm I'd look around the neighborhood to see what the neighbors are using and ask a local antenna installer for advice.
