| Are there any burners out there with SATA that will allow the use of cartridge-type DVD-RAMs without having to remove the disc from the cartridge? |

| Possibly, but I don't know of any off hand. One of the few cartridge type burners around is the Panasonic SW-9576-C, but it's a PATA burner and fairly expensive. :( You may be able to find a SATA version or a external enclosure that can use a PATA burner, but has a SATA external interface.
