Burning edited DV movie to DVD

roster19 posted 2007 May 20 23:03
I tried burning a DV movie with some added stills as an intro at the default 720x480 pixels(4:3). But when I watch the dvd, the images, which are 720x480, appear too wide for my 10 year old CRT television and the sides get cut off. I'm using Adobe Premiere Elements.

What I'd like to know is, at what resolution should I be burning it at?

Look up Overscan in the glossary. It's not just your TV, it is pretty much all of them to some degree.

When you are setting the image up in Elements, resize them to fit inside the action safe area.
