Burn software issues

RedGiant947 posted 2009 Dec 26 01:35
I'm trying to burn a 8.5 GB double layer dvd with the Burn software, but it keeps giving me a disc drive error which doesn't occur with my 4.7 GB discs. Does anybody know the problem or if this is possible? Are there any other freeware somebody can recommend? (It seems all of the guides say to use toast, but I don't have 80 dollars to blow...) Thanks

Is it snow leopard you have? I have the same issue, can not burn dual layer dvd's even using toast. It all worked ok until i upgraded to Snow Leopard.

There are quite a few people with this issue.

Yes I have Snow Leopard, so that just must be the issue. Thanks for the help, hopefully somebody fixes this soon.
