| I'm looking for a player to go with my 46" Panasonic Plasma that has 1080p. I would like a blu-ray player, but I would consider a dvd upconverter if there is one that really brings the video to near hd quality where you could almost not tell the difference.
What are your recommendations? |

| No upconverter brings DVD up near Blu-ray quality. If you sit more than 10 or 12 feet away the difference won't be so big though. |

| The best way to find out is with your own eyes. Go to a store with HD TVs and ask them to show you a comparison. Only you can decide what is good enough for you. Even though upconverted DVDs look quite good, they are not as good as Blu-ray. By seeing a direct comparison, you can decide for yourself. |
