| I was recently given a Pinnacle HDTV Pro stick (800e) and would like some very basic software to view TV. I don't care about capturing, I don't care about any PVR/replay TV features, I don't care about the remote... All I want is something where I could watch a bit of TV if I want. I tried Media Player Classic and while it seemed to work, I wasn't getting audio for some reason. I may have had something set wrong, but either way, I was hoping for something that was a bit easier to use than MPC. Any suggestions?
I'll probably be using this card on one of my two laptops. One runs Vista, the other XP and Ubuntu. |

| can always try gbpvr, thats free.
mediaportal is also free and there is also prog DVB too. |
