Asfbin -rfk - wmv vcm not found/working on Win7 x64?

Hello
I'm using Cut Assitant + Asbin with the -rkf (Recreate Keyframes) Option to cut exactly on frames without reencode.
But then i got this:

Decompression error: VCM decoding driver is not available.
Unable to recreate key frames!

I found out that i have to install the wmv vcm codec.Did this but i still got the same error.
Im running Win7 x64.Maybe thats the problem?
Does someone have a Solution how i can get this work in my os?

I've only used the 32bit version of W7 and haven't used those programs. Do you have XP mode with your OS? Or XP compatibility mode? You might try that. I didn't see where wmv vcm codec had 64bit compatibility listed. That may more likely be the problem than W7 itself.

But someone here more familiar with that software may have some ideas.

And welcome to our forums. :)

hey
Yes i tried virtual pc + xp mode and xp compatibility mode on the asfbin.exe and cut_assistant.exe.
No luck there.

Thanks for your answer.
