| I got a burner that can finally burn the new 8x DL dvd rs and they wont play in my playstation 3 ,it is unable to read the discs.
What is with these discs?I had 2 burners that wouldn't burn them even though they were rated for them and have tried three different brands. |

| Well, it might be good to know what brand they are. You should know that ONLY Verbatim makes reliable DL media and NOBODY ELSE does. NOBODY.
8x is really pushing the limits for DL media and I personally don't recommend burning at that speed. I prefer to burn at 2.4x although I have sometimes done 4x for DL media. |

| what program to burn disc with?
How is the dvd stucture made : shrink, tmpeg, dvd-Rb,etc? who makes the burner? are the VOB's 1GB or just one big VOB? |

| On top of everything else, he has not even stated that he is trying to burn or view video on the DL disc's :roll: |
