3d Virtual DVD cover

dphirschler posted 2009 Mar 27 15:14
I used to have some freeware software that would let me load DVD cover artwork, select a template, and it would create a 3D rendering of the DVD, like this (note, this is a 14 VCD set, but you get the idea):

I can't seem to find it now. I am not even sure of what to search for in Google. But I seem to remember trying several free ones out and deciding on that one.

I have this one & used to use this one all the time.
Does exactly what your photo is.

:
Download IMANDIX Cover Professional to make virtual product shots of your CDs, DVDs, Blu-Ray and HD-DVDs, Books, Magazines, Paul Champagne Designer Boxes, Software Boxes and Posters.

:
Click here to get IMANDIX Cover Standard (Freeware) version. Only DVD cases are supported.

In the "Downloads" section.

P.S.
You do know you can get every episode of those now in way better quality then vcd 8)

Yeah, I actually have them all on DVD now. But that cover was the only example I had handy of that cover software.

You can also do this using the gimp which is freeware but its a manual task where user manipulates images.

@lodrsmurf, Thanks. I tried to keep it in the same spirit as the VHS set. Read more about it here:

@Bjs, Yes, I have and use The Gimp. And I know I could've done this using The Gimp, but I wanted the automagic solution.
