Probably, you Schneider DVDR HDD 160 demands a teletext automatically to install time. I had such problem. Scanning of all range of accessible telechannels can demand a lot of time: at me a cable television (100 channels) scanning proceeds up to 40 minutes

Hello!
Possess the Schneider DVDR HDD160 on which when lighted writes " HELLO " still was able not anymore will use.
What is the breakdown in consideration of? If it is about the mistake in the software ask for if who that the MI sends on my mail.

Hello,
I just buy DVD, but not work.
When I pulg the cable in power supply, and press power button - just got it HELLO on display.
Whatever I try with other buttons or remote control - it's dead. |

glad to see it works, yap, you should finished it... i hav efound solution for 16:9 4:3 problem, it is actually in reverse, you should set it up for 16:9 to see it in 4:3

Thanks for your advice Maksim.
Actualy the problem was that I did not close +R and -R discs. When I closed them then they were readable on all devices. I used Verbatim +R and -R, Traxdata +R, Princo +R and all worked OK. Omega and TDK +R were not readable by other devices after recording.
As for RW Verbatim -RW simply does not work but Arita +RW does so I will probably use Arita.
As for reading, Schneider reads absolutly every media put in it.
I noticed that when I close disc under setup for it to be redable on other DVD devices, Schneider sometimes gets stuck and does not respond to any command from remote or on device it self. In such cases I have to turn it of and on again. Did it happen to you?
Also I notoced that I can not pause recording when I record to HDD. Did you notice this also?
As for problem from Vedran I still did not find solution. I noticed the same problem. When I am loking someting recorded from HDD I have to switch to 16:9 to see normal picture in 4:3 format on my TV (also 4:3 format). |

All is very simple. The BAD DISK. It is necessary to replace it. At me such cases constantly. Itself Schneider DVDR HDD 160 read through such disk can, as very big dataflow. In PC CD-DVD Rom system of reading more exact.

Dear all (especialy Vedran) I encountered a problem with this recoder so can you pleae help if you encountered it also.
When I record any program to DVD with it (I tried to record on -R, +R and -RW Werbatim media) it can not be reproduced on PC or any other DVD player (I attempted to play it on Phillips, Panasonic and some other no name DVD player components and on PC always with same result - when I put in the media recorded on Schnieder every player attempts to read it for around 1 minute and afterwords displayes "no media"). When I try to run it on PC it reports format error or opens a blank disc (I attempted to read it on 4 PC DVD readers/recorders with same result).
What could be the problem? I would like to edit it on PC but this way of cores can not.
Did any of you encounter this problem?
As for problem that Vedran has I noticed it also. I will check on how to solve it and let yo know if I will be succesfull. I think it records in 4:3 format but for some reason it is played in 16:9 format (I noticed the same problem on DIVX recorded in 4:3 format also when played is switched to 16:9).

Small question regarding HDD > DVD copy (dubbing) it flips 4:3 to 16:9 without any reason, all setup is on 4:3 letterbox, and if I record it directly to DVD it is OK 4:3, recording on HDD is the same, only when i copy 4:3 from HDD to DVD it flips on 16:9
any advice?

I can confirm that this recorder reads DVD+RW, subtitles srt and probably sub. Also reads multisession DVDs.
Design is great.
I will rate it after furder tests. |

Schneider to me has liked. Availability, the good price 350 ˆ (BAUR Versand). It is a lot of opportunities. The thought over design. The stylish case - is in harmony with other house technics. High quality of record TV of programs HQ, SP, LP is faultless. EP, EP + it is good artefacts practically imperceptibly. An opportunity of viewing DivX, XviD (5,11) this good property. ZOOM, Repeat, Edit - pleasant additions. TV a tuner of quite good quality with an opportunity of exact fine tuning channels.
Two lack.
1. Impossibly edit TV program written down on HDD , are necessary copying on DVD RW where their editing already probably - RW unreliably.
2. At long switching-off of power supplies there is a zeroing hours is badly, the probability of record of programs under the schedule is impossible.
General impression, the remarkable device with huge opportunities from the abrupt manufacturer to the comprehensible price and availability all over the world. I recommend ALL!!! |
