can tune in cable on tmer but sattelite is problem have to ensure correct channel selected meber of family can change prog you wanted lost do you know of any device that one could time and tune sattelite box

A brilliant all round machine.
However, I have burnt a DVD+R dual layer using the PC and this did not play. It plays fine in my Pioneer DV-444K player (not a recorder).

| Excellent product! My only complaint, and I mean the only one, is that using arrow keys to input a title by choosing each letter one by one is tiring, could I hook up a keyboard to the player? I love this machine! |

Great unit - very easy to use!
Picture quality is fantastic. Finding files on HDD is so easy - I could never go back to using VCR again.
I got mine from JB hifi in Melbourne for $670 (Brand new) so don't pay a cent more for this unit - I've seen it for as much as $799 RRP. |

Just bought me this wonderful machine.
BUT - I have a problem. After i birned a Platinum DVD-R
Finalezie it, then I can't read it in my computer.
I havea Pioneer 106.
Anyone for help??

First recorder i own. Very comfortable to use. You can hear the fan a bit but it doesnt bug me at all. The communication between RC and main unit is a bit slow, it tkaes about half a second to transfer commands so you cannot rapidly input commands. That barely annoys me.
Doesnt take DVD+, i guess i was misinformed before i did the purchase. |

| Hard Drive Great Idea, copied some home VHS tapes to the HD, did some edits and copied to DVD-R disks, worked as advertised. My home movies are now on DVD. Copy TV shows to the HD, watch them when I want, they look very good. The days of VHS tape is officially over! |
