I am very happy with it as it does burn DVD+R (such as Verbatim and Infiniti) and DVD+RW (such as Verbatim 2.4x) discs absolutely O.K. I tested those in my PC fitted with Nero 6 CD/DVD Burnt Quality Test programme. One thing got to bear in mind is that the "Timer" can be easily mucked up, such as inputing illegal data to the Start/Stop timers. When it happed the Recorder might malfunction and sometimes even displaying "No Disc" in the display when even a disc is properly inserted. When this happened, just follow the instructions to RESET the recorder and everything would be back to normal!! No sweats. As for selecting the Scart-1/2 for recording Source, you can select it via the Channel Button as well. Just make sure you would do that prior to your recording. Have funs!!

Good little player for the money. Backed up dvd to dvd no problem. But wont transfer copy protected video.

I have a Mico R311 (espejo) DVD recorder, but I am unable to use the recording element of the machine on anything other than Analogue tuned programmes. I have tried several scart set ups, but I am still unable to tune the recorder in to the digital receiver of my TV set. Could you please send me the required set up I need to configure the DVD recorder to record digital TV

I Love this recorder. everything I throw at it - it just plays. Multi-region out of the box. front AV sockets 4 video transfer. 6 Record modes. EP+ mode is perfect pic. Only faults I've found so far is macrovision & lacks customer support + the manual. Although detailed, there r alot of mistake in it. I'll transfer all my tapes & get rid of my video. This baby is the best.
