this player is ok there is a region hack . the only thing bad. i find i cant do is copy the disks ive recorded ive tried nero and other apps but no luck yet

Got this player for £99 from Comet. Works really well and has played all my copied dvd,s on -r format. Also now plays region 1 titles now that i have enabled it to be region free. Recording quality is excellent on the first two highest settings. Have not tried any other settings yet.

Bought this today for £129.99uk at Currys. Already have a dvd player that does what I need. Good quality recordings that play fine on other dvd players. Tested three of my dvd backups on +R that play fine on my LG6053, but the Matsui threw them out immediately.

Fantastic DVD Recorded. Dropped from £239.99 to £119.99. Plays all my original dvd's (Region 2 only) and all my dvdr disc including my DVD+r D/L discs. Comes with all the cables you need minus scart cable. Manual very easy to read and follow. Remote feels cheap and plasticy but you can't win them all. Mirrors finish on the front looks good, but collects lots of finger prints. Wait a few weeks for the region hack. well worth getting as it is cheap and you can get shot of that old VHS player
