I do not have problems to read the dvd's I recorded from that machine on computer or other dvd player. I give it a rate of 8 because it sometimes makes errors reading divx files.

This DVD recorder has played 90% of my 20 DivX/Xvid movies. Over all quality is good including the remote. One major draw back (the only reason I am not giving it a 10) is that I am having trouble playing recorded DVD's on other DVD players (both stationary and computer based). They play for approx 30 minutes and then they stop. If I look at the actual content of a fully recorded disc it says 4,1 GB used but there are only one vob file of 1GB in the Video_TS folder. I am missing some 3GB vob files... Any ideas on what the issue could be?
