Don't pay attention to that bad review, it works with everything i've needed it for, everything was quality, and still works fine after 2 years. It's played back every DVD that my computer can with no problem. I highly suggest this, especially if you can get it for the price I did.

CVD? $? 30 days 3 of 10 DivX DVD-RAM Comments: Had my unit for about 30 days before it started giving trouble, it recently started "freezing" every 30 seconds, for about 2 seconds and then continued playing. Now it plays for 10 seconds and then "freez" for 5 seconds. It does it on DVD SVCD and VCD, I have tried Commercial DVDs as well, it does the same with all. The biggest complaint I have, is at the Phillips web site, I can't find the nearest repair center. It keeps sending me back to the Products page! I have downloaded the latest up-grade in hopes this would help. I live in zip code 27516, if any of you can find the nearest repair center please let me know. The Phillips web site is useless for info on returning or repair instructions. Larry lblake1@nc.rr.com
