The only problems I've had are with some very high resolution/quality videos were it tends to drop frames (especially with B-VOPs and N-VOPs in XviD), XviD with GMC (though no stand-alone can play this right now), and some old (probably badly encoded) DivX 3 videos. SRT subtitles work as separate files with the same name as the video, and multiple ones can be selected if the files are named e.g. XXX.avi -> XXX.en.srt, XXX.de.srt, XXX.fr.srt, etc. It can also play SAMI (*.smi) subtitles (with multiple tracks) and MicroDVD (*.sub) subtitles. Discs with multiple types of content (i.e. videos, music and pictures on the one disc) are supported. The player also has a decent selection of outputs - the standard composite and s-video outputs, glorious analogue RGB through SCART (probably European models only), and also component YPbPr/YCbCr, and also analogue 5.1 audio outputs along with digital co-ax and optical outputs. Unfortunately, unlike some other Zoran Vaddis 776 based players like the Siemssen SCO 5000 ND, this player can't handle the MP4 container or AAC audio, which I think is a great loss.
