CVD? $? 180 days 5 of 10 JPG/JPEG DVD-JPG DVD-MP3 DivX XviD MPEGISO DVD-MPEGISO Chipset: ESS Vibratto II Comments: It woudn't call this player very bad because in the most cases it just works fine but there are number of issues related to this product: 1. Many problems with updates of the firmware (not many releases, poor description, they are not tested) 2. Poor technical support (if any) 3. Does not support some Xvid 4. Some video/voice synchronization issues 5. Poor thermo-design quality (it overheats and then hang up) I wouldn't recommend it.

Cons: Avi (MPEG4) playback is a little choppy. I have seen better Playback on Philips and JVC, but they don't support subtitles. Mpeg 1, 2 playback is OK DVD subtitles sometimes are garbled (shaking, ghosts, or completely distorted) Does not have a "last disc resume" of any kind. Does not support Greek (or East European) MPEG4 subtitles. Supports srt MPEG4 English subtitles, BUT it ommits words or whole sentences on big subtitles.

Does anyone have idea about what to do??thanx..

CVD? $? 180 days 8 of 10 JPG/JPEG DivX MPEGISO DVD-MPEGISO Comments: be careful not to buy the 4068 model, which was sold at MediaMarkt for the same price [chf 100] but which does not play DivX i bought two of these, one for a friend, they were so cheap. one machine stopped playing after about a week and had to be returned. the specs do not include Xvid, but it plays many Xvid avi files on CD and DVD that I have tried, but by no means all. in every respect [plays more media, better picture quality, faster forwarding speeds] this United is far superior to my Philips dvp 630, which was twice the price. however, i now bought a sigmatek 300pro, and would never again buy a machine that does not specifically state that it can play Xvid format.

But I've tested it doesn't support folders....no bad.
