I have testet (DVD-Svcd) and it works great.

There's two (three actually) different versions of the same model and they're both named 3151. How stupid is that ?!?!? To be sure that it plays VCD and SVCD check the front on the player. It should read SVCD (and not Kodak Picture CD, although it can play that also). It is also printed SVCD on the box. If it has the Kodak Picture CD logo on the box it can't play VCD/SVCD. BUT..... there's also a version that has Kodak Picture CD printed on the box AND can play VCD/SVCD. I have friends that have these other two versions, that's why I know there's two(three) versions. Mine was bought at "Överskottslagret" (all ok) in Genevad, Sweden, and my friends different players were bought at "Home Shopping" (no VCD/SVCD) and "Preem" (all OK).

CVD? $125 N/A 9 of 10 JPG/JPEG DVD-MP3 MP3 long filename DivX MPEGISO Comments: General: Remote sucks, and no RGB. Media: Tried HP, Infinity +R/RW and Pioneer, Vivastar DVD-R/RW - works perfect. DVD-burners: Tried HP, Philips (+R/RW) and Pioneer, Vivastar (-R/RW)-burners. No problems. dvd-vcd: Have nine farscape episodes on one dvd - dvd-vcd rocks! pictures: Can also show, zoom, and rotate jpeg-pictures on a cd-r. Great player - especially at the price!

( friends and family says that this player " eats " everything you feed it with. ) Use Acer GOLD discs.
