CVD? $? 120 days 9 of 10 Comments: Love this player esp. since it reads all the dvd+r and dvd+rw discs that I burn using DVDFab. Menus are easy to use. Has dts but one RF cable output can be used to connect to TV. Just one minor complaint is that if you are watching a cable channel, and the vcr is simulatenously recording another channel, when the vcr switches off after the timer recording, there is a 15 second loss of picture while the vcr recording switches off. Other than the minor annoyance, no problems with the player.

MP3 WMA CVD? $100 360 days 4 of 10 JPG/JPEG DVD-JPG DVD-MP3 MPEGISO DVD-MPEGISO Comments: Good reliability because, we have a combo VHS/DVD, but... It's difficult to convert from VHS to DVD. Output wires is complicate to select to put on your TV, chose if VHS go to L1, and DVD on L2, etc. Cannot read MP3, I've tried any kind of bitrate (in the book they don't said a limited one). But it's work on WMA.

CVD? $125 120 days 3 of 10 DivX XviD DVD-RAM Comments: A lacluster player. cumbersone menus. Will not play many burnt DVDr's, very hit and miss depending on mood of UNIT with movie copies. My EL-cheapo Norcent plays every DVD and cost $80 less than this brand name paperweight!
