CVD? $80 1 days 6 of 10 DVD-JPG MP3 long filename MP3 ID3 TAG DivX XviD Comments: Nice player, good buid quality, intuitive remote and menu system. I hoped that since it has HDMI output, it may play HD DivX files. It appears it can't play anything above 720x480. SRT and SUB subtitle files are found by the player and it asks to confirm which file to use (if there is more than one), but then displays nothing. The biggest problem for me is that it can't play .VOB files copied from DVDs, even when I renamed the extension to .mpg. My older crappy Kosch DV-721 was able to do that while it was alive (not very long). Summary: good for DVD format, but you should look for something else if your library is a mix of odd mpeg/divx files. I'm returning it to FutureShop.
