CVD? $250 over 1 year 8 of 10 DivX XviD Comments: Living in a small space I got this unit to replace the DVD player and VCR when my previous VCR died. I've been very happy with it. What makes me extatic is that I've recently gotten a Plextor DVD+R DL drive recently, and I can now play full backups of my DVDs without a problem. Only tried one so far, but there have been no glitches, which is nice :)

CVD? $300 270 days 10 of 10 miniDVD/cDVD JPG/JPEG Comments: Got this for the Tivo DVD was not needed but was in it. This player only reads DVD disk not cds. Unable to disable Macrovision. Has snapshot mode to take a photo from a DVD and use it as a background in DVD menus.

CVD? $300 21 days 9 of 10 DVD-JPG DivX MPEGISO DVD-MPEGISO Comments: The SDH400 is a TiVo/DVD combo. The DVD player is not picky and plays most discs even though it says it only supports DVD-R. I've successfully played DVD+RW (Sony), Maxell DVD-R, Verbatim DVD+R (CMC), TDK DVD+R, cheap CD-R's (CMC), etc. All were written from my NEC ND-2500A. Basically, it plays as many discs as my old Apex.
