CVD? $125 over 1 year 5 of 10 Comments: Bought this player Christmas 2002. It packed it in today (10Mar2006) - would not load or recognize a disk (tried numerous) - and when it did, it only played 0:00:02, and then got stuck. Not worth paying $80+ to have looked at, never mind fixed. Bought Sony DVP-NS50PS for $100 - works beauty.

Pretty compatible with any DVD format (+R -R +RW). Sadly it doesnt play SVCD, doesnt have long filename for mp3. Doesnt support WMA. Doesnt support DVD-Mp3. But image quality and durability are there until now.

N/A 2 of 10 Comments: After three months of owning this machine, it's been in the repair shop three times. All for the same problem a major over heating problem. It would freeze on normal DVD's DVD-R's(Ritex 4x). I have four other DVD players only the Toshiba's do not play them right. And the custumer service department well that's another problem, good luck with them. If you can avoid this who product line, it will save you alot of headache and money!
